On Saturday evening, January 14, in Lenkom, Mark Zakharov was supposed to give The Marriage of Figaro.
– I believe that on the day when a great actress left, you can’t play a comedy. – says theater director Mark Varshaver. – it happened an hour ago, and this is a huge grief for our theater.
According to Varshaver, Inna Mikhailovna had been in the Botkin hospital for three weeks. He sent her there. The actress has not been feeling well for the past six months. Because of this, she could not be at the gathering of the troupe in September, for the same reason she has not played a single performance since the beginning of the season. In Lenkom, she had two roles left – in The Lioness of Aquitaine and in the play Lies in Salvation. And at the Vakhtangov Theater she superbly played the Queen of England in the production of The Audience, but even there she canceled performances from the beginning of the season.

– Yes, I called her ten days ago. She laughed, even joked. She said that she wanted to get better soon and go on stage.
– Was it a specific job?
– Not so specific … Sasha Zbruev wanted them to take the play for two.
