Kommersant reported problems with payment for electronics supplies

Banks are blocking payments from Russian companies under the code of the commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity (TN VED) 8542, as well as payments for the supply of the latest generation of telecommunications equipment. The head of the Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RASPP), Vitaly Mankevich, confirmed that some companies are facing payment problems. He also noted that not all banks block transactions, and the providers themselves use other payment methods.

Georgy Vlastopulo, CEO of the Optimalog logistics company, said that Kazakh banks have tightened control over operations that involve payment for any sanctioned goods. He noted that it is becoming more difficult to purchase components through third countries, and predicted a shortage of such products in six months or a year.

In May, the US Treasury contributed the sanctions list includes about 30 importing companies and manufacturers of electronics that supplied goods to Russia or were engaged in their production on Russian territory.
