The interlocutor claims that the company has agreed on deliveries with Russian distributors of OCS, “Marvel Distribution“and” Treolan “(included in”Lanit“). Another source in the notebook market also said that OCS and Treolan have entered into an agreement with Machenike.
Marvel Distribution confirmed the information. The company noted that Machenike is a promising brand, and its share in the Chinese gaming device market is about 20%. Machenike, OCS, Treolan and Lanita did not respond to the newspaper’s request.
The manufacturer Machenike belongs to the Haier concern, which supplies household appliances and electronics to Russia. As the newspaper notes, in mid-July, another Chinese manufacturer of gaming laptops, Thunderobot, entered the Russian market. It also applies to Haier. The vendor entered into an agreement with M.Video-Eldorado, the trade network reported.
Machenike products are currently available for Russians on Ozon and Aliexpress. Ozon noted that “hundreds of devices” of the brand were sold in the first six months of 2022. It is specified that more often buyers are interested in mice and keyboards. According to Marvel Distribution, in 2021, a total of 1,600 Machenike peripherals were imported into the country, as well as about 200 laptops.
AT “M Video” stated that, as of the end of 2021, Asus, Lenovo, Acer, HP and MSI devices were the most popular among Russian buyers. After the start of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, major electronics manufacturers suspended sales in Russia. In March, Asus, Acer and Apple stopped supplying equipment, and in June, HP.
