French logistics operator GeoPost is in talks to sell its Russian delivery service DPD, informed Kommersant, citing sources.

The sale of the Russian service is being discussed with the transport company Delovye Linii and the PEC operator, the newspaper writes. About the possibility of selling DPD it was reported back in May 2022 – then it was announced in the press service of the Russian delivery company.

DPD, according to the information on the website, has more than 5,000 points of issue of orders and delivers over 100,000 parcels per day. Delivery works in 35,000 settlements in Russia and the EAEU, as well as in 200 countries of the world.

GeoPost operates in 230 countries and serves over 310,000 customers. According to the data on the operator’s website, the holding ranks first in France and second in Europe in the ground express delivery of parcels market. The operator also owns the PickPoint ATM network, which filed its own bankruptcy lawsuit in April.
