Kim Jong-un and Denis Manturov inspected the production of fifth-generation fighters

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, visited Russian aviation enterprises in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. They were given a tour of the assembly shops of the Su-35 and Su-57 fighters, as well as the passenger SJ-100. The Ministry of Industry and Trade reported this in Telegram.

Kim Jong-un and Denis Manturov visited the aircraft plant named after Yu.A. Gagarin, as well as the center of the parent company of the civilian division of UAC Yakovlev. Together with the Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory, Mikhail Dyagterev, they inspected the unit-assembly production of fighter aircraft and the final assembly shop for Su-35 aircraft and the fifth-generation Su-57 complex.

The delegations were also shown the workshops where cooperation work is underway in the production of the import-substituted SJ-100, and the final assembly workshop on the territory of the Yakovlev UAC center. At the end of the visit, Kim Jong-un and Denis Manturov looked at the flight of the Su-35 fighter.

Kim Jong-un has been visiting Russia since September 12, when he arrived at Khasan station in the Primorsky Territory. On September 13, he met with Vladimir Putin at the Vostochny cosmodrome. Vladimir Putin promisedthat Russia will help North Korea build satellites.
