Khusnullin named the cost of the Dzhubga – Sochi – Kommersant route

The Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation estimated the cost of the Dzhugba – Sochi highway at 1.4 trillion rubles. The final routing and cost of the project will be determined in the coming weeks.
“Dzhubga – Sochi will cost about 1.4 trillion rubles, about 600 billion rubles. from which will be taken from extra-budgetary sources,” said Mr. Khusnullin in interview Vedomosti newspaper.
He also emphasized that the project is technically complex. To implement it, it is planned to use funds from the National Welfare Fund on a repayable basis at 3% per annum for 15 years. The layout and cost will be approved in the coming weeks, Khusnullin added.
In addition, Mr. Khusnullin said that in 2024 a high-speed road will be built from Krasnodar through Temryuk to the Crimean Bridge, as well as the Azov Ring – more than 2,000 km along the perimeter of the sea through Crimea, Taganrog and the Krasnodar Territory.
Earlier, Mr. Khusnullin said that the construction of the Dzhubga – Sochi highway is planned to be completed by the end of 2029. At the same time, the construction of the Adler bypass will be completed by the end of 2027, and the Tuapse bypass will be completed in 2028.
At the end of February, during his address to the Federal Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the government to work on the issue of financing the project for the construction of the Dzhubga-Sochi highway. It should provide communications between settlements in the south of Russia.
The length of the Dzhubga – Sochi highway will be 171 km. The two-lane highway will relieve heavy traffic towards the Black Sea coast in the summer and will reduce the route to the sea by four times.
