Volume of Kazakh oil transportation via the Transneft oil pipeline (MOEX: TRNFP) “Druzhba” from January to September 2023 amounted to 589.6 thousand tons. About it reported press service of the Kazakh oil trunk pipeline operator Kaztransoil.
The pumping proceeds towards the Adam’s Outpost oil delivery point, from where it is further supplied to Germany. In October, Kaztransoil plans to supply 100 thousand tons of oil to Germany via Russia.
In December 2022, Kaztransoil submitted an application to pump 1.2 million tons of oil from Kazakhstan via the Druzhba oil pipeline to Germany in 2023. The Kazakh operator delivered the first batch of oil in the amount of 20 thousand tons to Germany in February 2023.
Kaztransoil added that there are enough technical capabilities to transport 1.2 million tons of Kazakh oil to Germany, but the actual volumes depend on the requests of oil companies. In September, Transneft and Kaztransoil signed oil transit agreement in 2024.
