Kazakhstan plans to supply 1.5 million tons of oil to Germany through the Druzhba pipeline in 2023, of which 20,000 tons will be delivered in January. This was stated by the Minister of Energy of the country Bolat Akchulakov on January 11. Kazakhstan has already received verbal permission to pump from the Russian side, Akchulakov noted (his words were reported by Interfax).
According to two interlocutors of Vedomosti who are familiar with the data of the Ministry of Energy, the current schedule of deliveries through the Transneft pipeline system provides for the transit of Kazakh oil through the ports of Novorossiysk and Ust-Luga in a total volume of 3.25 million tons (transit of Kazakh oil through Druzhba in chart is not shown). At the same time, according to the current schedule, in the first quarter of 2023, it is planned to supply only 30,000 tons of Russian oil to Germany through Druzhba.
