Kazakhstan has banned the transportation of oil products to the port of Taman by rail

Since May 8, Kazakhstan Railways has banned the transportation of oil products in the direction of the Black Sea port of Taman. The day before, on May 3, a tank with oil products caught fire near the port. Russian Railways also previously imposed a restriction on the carriage of goods in the direction of the port.
The Kazakh railway confirmed to Reuters the ban on transportation of oil products. The restrictions apply to the consignee “Tamanneftegaz” with deliveries to the stations “Vyshesteblievskaya”, “Vyshesteblievskaya-export” and “Vyshesteblievskaya-naliv” of the North Caucasus Railway. The ban is in effect until the order is cancelled.
In the village of Volna in the Krasnodar Territory, on the territory of JSC Tamanneftegaz, on May 3, a tank with oil products caught fire. By data TASS, the reason was the fall of the drone. The area of the fire was 1250 sq. m. No one was hurt. After that, Russian Railways introduced restrictions on transportation to the Vyshesteblievskaya, Vyshesteblievskaya-export and Vyshesteblievskaya-naliv stations.
