KamAZ expects record net profit under IFRS for 2023 – Kommersant

KamAZ’s net profit according to IFRS at the end of 2023 will be a record, said CEO Sergei Kogogin on the sidelines of the VTB forum “Russia Calling!” According to him, the profit will exceed 5 billion rubles. Against this background, KamAZ shares grew by more than 5%.
“Everything is fine with our financial results so far,” Mr. Kogogin told reporters (quoted from “Interfax”).
KamAZ shares are rising on the Moscow Exchange after the publication of news about record profits. By 12:03 they reached 194.6 rubles. (+5.11%). Later, the price of the securities was adjusted to 192.2 rubles. (+4.46%).
KamAZ is the largest Russian manufacturer of trucks. The largest shareholders are Rostec (47.2%), Avtoinvest (23.54%) and Daimler Truck (15%). Net profit under RAS in 2022 amounted to RUB 5.4 billion.
