Italian actress and TV presenter Sandro Milo (the actress’s real name is Salvatrice Elena Greco) died at the age of 91, the Italian agency ANSA reported, citing the actress’s family. She starred in many films by Italian film director Federico Fellini.

“Today at 8:25 am our mother passed away. She left us peacefully, falling asleep in her bed. As she wanted, surrounded by our love and the love of her beloved dogs Jim and Lady,” the actress’s children said (quote from ANSA).

The causes of death have not been specified. ANSA considers Ms. Milo one of the most famous actresses of Italian cinema and the muse of film director Federico Fellini.

The actress was born on March 11, 1933 in Tunisia. She made her debut in 1955 in the comedy “The Bachelor,” in which she played the leading female role. In total, Sandro Mila has about 70 films. In 2023, the actress starred in the Italian TV series “Gigolo by Accident.”
