The Japanese car manufacturer Isuzu Motors has exited the Russian business. The company transferred the assets of its “daughter” to a major automaker. This was reported by the Japanese agency Kyodo.

The agency does not specify who gained control over the shares of Isuzu Motors subsidiary in Russia. No other details are given.

In March 2022, Isuzu Motors suspended truck production at its plant in Ulyanovsk. In September it became known that the company considers leaving Russia, as it cannot resolve the issue of the supply of components to the country.
