Iranian film “Without prior arrangement” won the Grand Prix of the MIFF

The winners of the 44th Moscow International Film Festival have been announced. At the awards ceremony in the capital’s Rossiya Theater, it was announced that the Grand Prix was received by the film “Without Prior Arrangement” by Iranian director Behruz Shoaibi.
Todorovsky’s “Healthy Man” became the winner of the “Russian Premieres” contest.
“Silver St. George” for directing was awarded to the Serbian director Sinisa Cvetich, who shot the film “Beheading”. This film also won the Audience Choice Award.
Romanian actor Costel Kashkaval, who played in the film “A Voice Crying in the Wilderness” directed by Cyprian Megi, received the award for best male role. And actress Peg Ahangarani, who played in the winning film, was recognized as the best performer of a female role.
