Intel sold the largest office in Russia to the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation

Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region (established by the regional government) acquired former building Intel company in Nizhny Novgorod, Kommersant-Privolzhye found out. The former largest Intel office in Russia is located near the historical center of Nizhny Novgorod – on Sennaya Square.

The total office area at 30 Turgeneva Street is about 13.5 thousand square meters. m. The building, built in 1996 as an office for the Petrovsky defense plant, has nine above-ground and two underground floors. In front of it there is surface parking for several dozen cars, behind there is a large plot of land adjacent to the territory of the Petrovsky plant.

Kommersant-Privolzhye’s interlocutors say that the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation plans to use the building for the same profile and will house IT companies in it. The publication’s sources do not exclude that the land plot behind it will be developed. They said that the deal was non-market, Intel sold the building on terms favorable to the Development Corporation.
