According to experts, tourist spending amounted to 372 billion rubles, showing an increase of 27% year on year. “The volume of revenues to the Moscow budget will reach 51 billion rubles. With this money, about 15 new kindergartens and schools can be built,” the mayor added.
As Sergei Sobyanin clarified, this year four new hotels with more than 400 rooms opened in Moscow. Two more facilities should be operational in the city by the end of the year. Today, September 27, is World Tourism Day.
