Against the backdrop of the popularity of the series “The Boy’s Word. Blood on the Asphalt,” based on the book by Robert Garayev, entrepreneurs are massively submitting applications to register the trademark of the same name. How they write “Vedomosti” with reference to the Rospatent database, five applications for registration of such a trademark have already been sent to the office.

According to Rospatent, four applications were submitted by private entrepreneurs and small businesses from the regions. Retail Media from Moscow submitted an application to register a trademark for the production of cosmetics (third class: shampoos, cologne, powder), hand tools (eighth class: razors, drills, irons, hammers), household appliances (21st class: plates, combs , trays), food products (class 29 and 30: sausages, sunflower seeds, chips, coffee, tea), non-alcoholic and low-alcohol drinks (class 32: beer, water, kvass, juices, lemonades, energy drinks).

The Novosibirsk First Craft Brewery is applying for a trademark for the class of soft drinks and beer. Two applications were sent by Peter Emelyanov from Khabarovsk: he wants to produce board games (grade 28) and sunflower seeds (grade 29).

The application was also sent by the publishing house “Eksmo” (part of Russia’s largest publishing group “Eksmo-AST”, owns (51%) in the publishing house Individuum, which has the rights to publish Robert Garayev’s book “The Boy’s Word. Criminal Tatarstan of the 1970s–2010s “). Eksmo wants to launch the production of electronics and digital goods (ninth grade: e-books, sound files, headphones), paper products and stationery (class: posters, magazines, notebooks, pens), home appliances (21st grade: candles, plates , combs), clothing (25th class: boots, bandanas, shirts, T-shirts, hats), advertising (35th class), as well as entertainment services (41st class: publishing books, video filming, organizing and holding concerts, show programs ).

Release of the series “The Boy’s Word. Blood on the Asphalt” was released in online cinemas on November 9. The series, like the book “The Boy’s Word. Criminal Tatarstan 1970 – 2010s” by Robert Garayev, talks about teenage gangs in the capital of Tatarstan during perestroika. The series took 47th place in the Kinopoisk rating of the best series. Robert Garayev’s book was in second place in sales on Litres in November.

The series caused a mixed reaction from the public. The Tatarstan authorities said that “such films do not lead to anything good.” Tatarstan Children’s Ombudsman Irina Volynets filed a complaint with Roskomnadzor, saying that the series romanticizes the image of a criminal. Based on the results of the inspection, the department did not find any violations. At the same time, the creators of the series decided reshoot last episode.
