In Russia, the pace of decline in air travel is accelerating

Russian airlines carried 81 million passengers in 10 months of 2022, which is 13.4 million or 14.3% less than in the same period a year earlier. This was told to Vedomosti by two sources familiar with the statistics of the Federal Air Transport Agency. How many of them were transported on domestic lines and in international traffic, they did not specify.
The rate of decline in air traffic in October accelerated to 25% compared to the same month in 2021 compared to 17% in July and 19% in August and September, one of Vedomosti’s interlocutors clarifies.
