The Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology has approved a new standard for the provision of hotel services in the All Inclusive and Ultra All Inclusive formats. This was reported in the press service of Rosstandart.
According to Anton Shalaev, head of the department, this will improve the quality of services provided by Russian hotels and inns, as well as the formation of an attractive and competitive product for domestic and inbound tourists.
Rosstandart also noted that prior to the issuance of the order, hotels independently determined the list and quality of services provided, which could mislead consumers. Now the rules will be governed by a standard that sets out requirements for the appearance of the room, the infrastructure of the hotel or inn, food and entertainment.
Last week, the Turkiye Turizm newspaper reported that Turkey may abandon the all inclusive system (“all inclusive”). Tour operator Erol Guldal said this on January 10 in an interview with the publication. In his opinion, Turkey should switch to a half-board system “so that rich German tourists come.”
