The other day Vitas celebrated his 45th birthday and, as is tradition, he did it as non-publicly as possible. Family feast, live broadcast on the Internet for fan congratulations and no anniversary concerts. Rumors that the artist had disappeared somewhere were thus dispelled, unlike doubts about his future career. However, Vitas’ management advises not to worry.

Sergei Pudovkin, who launched Vitas’ career in 2000 and is still involved in all the artist’s affairs, once again informed ZD that the singer does not give interviews. As well as concerts in Russia. According to Sergei, there is, of course, no talk of a concert moratorium, but the artist would like to appear here on stage with a significant new program, which is not yet ready. “He’s probably not as widely represented now as he was in the days of the gills,” Mr. Pudovkin said, ironically hinting at the shocking image of the singer at the beginning of his career and making it much easier for ZD to ask the cornerstone question about the eternal all-Chinese miracle, and added : – but in China he works under contract on two large projects. “I recently took part in a big festival and starred in a festive show dedicated to the Chinese New Year.”

Of course, the singer delighted the audience of the Celestial Empire not only with the notorious high note, which became the talk of the town, but also with Russian exoticism. The famous romance “Nightingale” by Alexander Alyabyev was performed, as well as the song “Coasts of Russia”, which Vitas released back in 2005. Regarding the anniversary celebrations in the homeland, which is not as enthusiastic as China, where icon-like monuments are sculpted in honor of Vitas, so far only promises are made in the spirit of “we will celebrate, but later.”

Vitas spent his birthday at home with his wife, three children and other relatives. “He is one of the most non-party artists, besides, we try to enter the right doors and observe the dress code even at home,” Sergei Pudovkin noted, not without irony. “But this is not retirement on the couch.” Vitas is just a good father and can now afford to spend more time with his family.”
