American technology company HP Inc. launched the process of liquidation of the Russian subsidiary LLC HP Inc. This was reported by RBC with reference to Fedresurs data.
In 2015, the American company Hewlett-Packard split into two independent businesses – Hewlett Packard Enterprise (development and production of corporate IT systems) and HP Inc. (production of personal computers and printers). At the same time, the legal entity HP Inc. was registered in Russia. — HP Inc. LLC.
HP Inc specialized in the sale of computer equipment, office equipment and other equipment under the HP brand, its technical support, warranty service, and also provided printing services, consulting and marketing services.
At the end of February 2022, HP Inc. announced the suspension of supplies to Russia. In May of the same year, the company completed all operations in the country, and the Russian subsidiary stopped concluding new contracts and orders and began laying off employees. At the end of 2022, HP Inc.’s revenue decreased by 64% compared to the results of 2021, to 15 billion rubles, the net loss amounted to 1.7 billion rubles.
