Due to the sanctions imposed by the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, foreign banks began to refuse Russian IT companies in conducting financial transactions. According to another source of the publication, the Croc IT integrator and the electronics distributor OCS Distribution, which also fell under sanctions, faced similar problems in several foreign banks. Representatives of both companies did not comment on this information. Another Vedomosti interlocutor claims that individuals from the sanctions list have also begun to be denied opening accounts in banks in Armenia and Turkey. It is not known which credit institutions we are talking about.
April 15, Mr. Zelensky put into effect decisions of the National Security and Defense Council on personal sanctions against Russian citizens. Restrictive measures affected 351 individuals and 254 legal entities, including large IT companies – Yandex, Rambler and VK Companies (its subsidiaries Mail.ru, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Zen) . Restrictive measures against legal entities have been introduced for ten years. On April 22, the President of Ukraine also imposed sanctions against the Russian CEC and parliamentary parties.
