Home Credit Bank has suspended accepting incoming and outgoing foreign currency transfers for reasons beyond the bank’s control. This was reported press office credit organization.
“Due to the actions of foreign correspondent banks, at the moment we cannot guarantee the execution of a currency transfer even with extended terms. Therefore, in order not to jeopardize the interests and funds of customers that may be blocked, we are forced to temporarily suspend transfers in foreign currency, ”the Home Credit press service said.
The bank added that they are looking for alternative channels for making currency transfers. The credit institution will additionally inform about the restoration of acceptance of incoming and outgoing transfers in foreign currency.
Due to the sanctions, most large Russian banks were forced to suspend or limit transfers in foreign currency. For example, this was done by Sberbank, VTB, Rosselkhozbank, Otkritie, Alfa-Bank, Sovcombank, Promsvyazbank and Moscow Credit Bank.
