In 2023, the online sales market will traditionally grow. Every year it increases by at least 25-30%. All furniture retailers will be looking to increase online sales.
According to Mr. Genke, the most important problem for retailers is the solvency of home buyers. “Naturally, this affects the market for furniture and home goods, because most of the demand is formed precisely through the purchase of new housing. If the pace of new real estate construction slows down, it will affect huge industries – home improvement, furniture and home goods, ”said the director of Hoff.
By the end of 2022, imports of foreign products to Russia fell by 40%. Kommersant FM found out that local players began to increase production, as a result, the production of plastic goods almost doubled, cabinet and upholstered furniture – by a third, upholstered furniture – by a quarter.
