Grain has risen in price in the Urals, the Volga region, the Black Earth region and Siberia – Kommersant

Last week, the rise in grain prices accelerated sharply in the Volga, Urals, Chernozem and Siberia regions. This follows from the monitoring of the ProZerno company, cited by Interfax. Wheat prices increased most significantly in the regions of the Volga region and central regions.

Prices for wheat of the 3rd class increased: in the Volga region – by 925 rubles, up to 12,713 rubles. per ton. In the center and the Chernozem region, the growth amounted to 370 rubles, up to 12,800 and 12,630 rubles. In other regions, the price increase amounted to 100–165 rubles. per ton.

Prices for wheat of the 4th grade increased: in the central regions – by 850 rubles, up to 11,517 rubles, in the Volga region – by 775 rubles, up to 11,525 rubles, in the Urals – by 400 rubles, up to 11,367 rubles. per ton. In the Chernozem region and in the south, the growth amounted to 220-250 rubles, in Siberia – 115 rubles.

Prices for wheat of the 5th grade increased: in the south – by 465 rubles, up to 11,950 rubles, in the Volga region – by 300 rubles, up to 8,938 rubles. per ton. In the Chernozem region, the growth amounted to 170 rubles, in the Urals – 115 rubles. At the same time, the central regions decreased by 15 rubles.

Prices for feed barley grew the most in the Urals – by 565 rubles, to 9,600 rubles. per ton. In the Chernozem region, the growth amounted to 320 rubles, up to 8,640 rubles, in the south – 300 rubles, up to 11,667 rubles, in Siberia – by 255 rubles, in the center – by 250 rubles. In the Volga region, prices, on the contrary, decreased by 215 rubles.

Prices for rye have hardly changed: in the Volga region, the price reduction amounted to 115 rubles, in Siberia – by 100 rubles. In other regions, they have not changed at all. Corn prices rose the most in the Chernozem region – by 590 rubles, to 11,310 rubles. per ton. In the center, the growth amounted to 350 rubles, up to 10,367 rubles. In other regions, the dynamics was insignificant.

“Last week, the July depreciation of the ruble fully worked out in the conjuncture of the domestic grain market. Even the export duty on wheat has increased, despite the reduction in the indicative price,” the company’s experts explain.

After Russia’s withdrawal from the grain deal (an agreement with the UN, the authorities of Turkey and Ukraine), the shares of the Novorossiysk Bakery Plant at the auction of the Moscow Exchange on July 17 rose by more than 43%, updating historical records in terms of value and trading volume.
