The amount of financial obligations of the Russian division of Google to Russian creditors is about 20.2 billion rubles. Such data are provided in the materials on the results of the first meeting of creditors, which TASS.
The first meeting of creditors was attended by representatives of the Federal Tax Service, Izhevsk Radio Plant, Alfa Textiles, 2GIS, Proxima Technology and four others. The sum of their claims is 97.2% of the total. Lenders intend to demand the bankruptcy of the Russian office of Google.
The Russian division of Google in 2022 itself went to court to declare it bankrupt. The Arbitration Court of Appeal introduced initial bankruptcy proceedings against Google LLC. More than 1,000 Russian companies have filed a claim against Google. Most of them are related to the failure to provide advertising services.
Since the end of 2021, turnover fines totaling RUB 29 billion have been imposed on Google twice. Also, millions of fines were imposed on the company for not deleting information on its resources. Federal bailiff service removed all money from the bank accounts of the division as an interim measure.
