Russian clothing and footwear manufacturer Gloria Jeans will launch a new brand aimed at teenagers called Ready! Steady! Go! According to Forbesthe brand is also inspired by Asian pop culture.

Information about the creation of a new Forbes brand was confirmed by a representative of Gloria Jeans. At the same time, he did not specify whether the brand will become independent, or new products will be included in the line of the company’s stores. The founder and chairman of the board of directors of Gloria Jeans, Vladimir Melnikov, said that the company plans to highlight three new brands for different age groups.

Commodity sign Ready! Steady! Go! (translated as “to the start, attention, march!”) was registered in October 2020. At the same time, in collections already have clothes with Ready patches! Steady! Go!

Gloria Jeans in June announced on plans to occupy eight former trading floors of H&M and Uniqlo, including in the Moscow European shopping center. In total, Gloria Jeans plans to open 130 stores in 2023, including relocations of existing outlets. In total, according to the results of the first half of the year, the retailer occupied more than 50 locations that were vacated after international brands left the Russian market.

The revenue of Gloria Jeans Corporation JSC in 2022 increased by 11.3%, to 57.69 billion rubles, net profit – by 49.4%, to 6.14 billion rubles. The company’s stores are represented in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. In May, a representative of Gloria Jeans told Kommersant that the company is actively exploring the possibility of entering new foreign markets in offline and online channels.
