Gazprombank Investments responded to messages in Telegram channels about the leakage of personal data of clients. The broker told Kommersant that the information was not true.
“Data leakage through external hacking of systems is currently impossible, since all customer databases are completely isolated from the external network,” the press service of Gazprombank Investments told Kommersant.
According to the company, Telegram channels in their leak reports indicate the number of clients, which is more than 10 times different from the “real volume of the broker’s client base.” Gazprombank Investments will verify the authenticity of the data. The company has notified supervisory authorities who are conducting their own review.
