Gazprom (MOEX: GAZP) reportedthat from September 21 to 27, scheduled maintenance work will take place on the Power of Siberia gas pipeline. During this period, gas transportation will be suspended. The company recalled that, according to an agreement with the Chinese company CNPC, maintenance of gas pipeline equipment and systems is carried out twice a year, in spring and autumn.
The Power of Siberia delivers gas from the Chayandinskoye field to China and Russian consumers in the Far East. Last time, preventative work on the gas pipeline were carried out from March 29 to April 5.
