Gazprom Neft estimates the availability of produced oil reserves at 19 years

Production security “Gazprom oil” prepared reserves amounted to 19 years, stated Director for Geological Exploration and Development of the Company’s Resource Base Yuriy Masalkin in an interview with Interfax.

In 2022, the company replenished production with new reserves by 119%, discovering 20 new deposits and obtaining licenses for 16 areas in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and in the Yenisei Bay of the Kara Sea, he emphasized.

“Their acquisition continued the development of promising search clusters in the south of Yamal, the Gydan and Taimyr peninsulas. The company’s production supply with prepared reserves was 19 years,” said Masalkin.

“Gazprom Neft“is increasing the themes of development of East Siberian assets, he noted, in particular the company’s attention is focused on two large projects related to the study of areas of the Chona group on the border of Yakutia and the Irkutsk region with the prospect of sending raw materials to the Asia-Pacific region. Another project is the Omorinsky site in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
