“Tariffs for the transportation of passengers in compartment cars, SV cars and luxury cars of trains formed by FPC JSC, running in domestic traffic, from January 1, 2023, will be indexed by 8.1% compared to the level of 2022,” it says in the message.
The company noted that 95% of coupe, SV and luxury cars now use a dynamic pricing system, i.е. ticket prices depend on the season, day of the week, demand and the number of seats sold.
The FPC itself sets tariffs in the non-regulated segment – SV, coupe and luxury, and the tariffs for reserved seat and common cars are determined by the FAS, the company added. The ticket price consists of the base fare and the cost of the carrier’s services.
In November the government approved investment program Russian Railways for 2023 in the amount of 1.074 trillion rubles, which is almost a third higher than the parameters for 2022. 15 billion rubles. of these funds – a contribution to the authorized capital of FPC for the purchase of 225 passenger cars.
