Former McDonald’s restaurants in Belarus started operating under Mak.by brand

Former restaurants of the American fast food chain McDonald’s in Belarus began operating under the Mak.by brand, informed the KSB Victory Restaurants company, which owns the establishments.
“From April 18, 2023, the restaurants of the KSB Victory Restaurants Unitary Enterprise begin to operate under the Mak.by brand. The company will ensure high standards of product quality and hospitable service.
The company emphasized that the team of employees and managers remained the same and will continue to work in accordance with the current values.
McDonald’s closed its restaurants in Russia in March, and two months later the company announced its final withdrawal from the Russian market. At the same time, the company announced the sale of the network in Russia to the local licensee Alexander Govor. On June 12, the first 15 restaurants of the former American fast food were reopened in Russia under the Vkusno – i dot brand.
After leaving Russia, McDonald’s decided to leave the Belarusian market as well, and in November 2022, supposedthat network establishments in the republic will start working under the Russian brand “Vkusno – and that’s it.” In Belarus, 25 McDonald’s restaurants were opened, which annually served over 10 million customers.
