Pavel Durov has four citizenships – Russia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, France and the United Arab Emirates. He became a citizen of the United Arab Emirates only in February 2022. Since 2017, the entrepreneur has been living in Dubai. In February 2021, Pavel Durov met with Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
In the spring of 2021, Mr. Durov for the first time entered the top 10 Russian billionaires according to the Russian edition of Forbes. He ranked ninth in the rankings.
