On the basis of public services, the portal “I am in Russia” was launched for residents of the annexed regions, said Maksut Shadayev, head of the Ministry of Digital Development. Its main task is to help determine the procedure for obtaining certain services. The creation of the portal was coordinated by the son of Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev Ilya.
“In fact, this is a knowledge base that allows you to understand step by step what needs to be done in order to get the main popular services, such electronic instructions with addresses, phone numbers, work schedules … We call this life situations,” said Mr. Shadayev on meeting on the socio-economic development of new regions (quote from RIA Novosti).
The portal now has 16 services and 32 so-called life situations. By the end of the year, its 14 online services, 30 municipal services and 20 “life situations” will be opened. A chatbot will be connected to communicate with users. According to Mr. Shadayev, in fact, United Russia “is the main customer” for this work.
Russia sent troops to Ukraine in February 2022. In September, the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions were included in the Russian Federation.
