The deal to sell the Helsinki Hall arena (formerly Hartwall Arena) has been postponed, a Finnish TV channel reported MTV3. 45% of the arena’s shares belong to the structures of Russian businessmen Roman Rotenberg and Gennady Timchenko.

Helsinki Hall is the largest indoor sports and concert venue in the capital of Finland. The arena has been idle since the start of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine. According to Helsingin Sanomat, the sale of the arena was supposed to take place on February 28. According to the MTV3 channel, a new date for the deal has not yet been set.

Russian businessmen purchased the sports and concert complex from Finnish entrepreneur Harri Harkimo in 2013. Roman Rotenberg and Gennady Timchenko own 45% of the shares; they can make key decisions independently of the other 562 owners.
