Financial Literacy Day to be held at the Moscow Center for the Quality of Education

The Moscow Center for the Quality of Education announced that exactly one week later, on December 14, Financial Literacy Day will be held at its site. Free admission.
Everyone will be able to attend training seminars, lectures and master classes conducted by financial market experts. Visitors will learn how to profitably use a bank card, what marketing techniques trigger spontaneous purchases, how to recognize cyber fraudsters and protect themselves from them. In addition, throughout the day, visitors to the event will be able to receive advice on taxation, in particular, they will learn what income and property are taxed, what benefits and tax deductions a person can receive, as well as how to apply for them.
For schoolchildren on the Day of Financial Literacy, there will be a business game “Personal Finance”, as well as a master class on determining the authenticity of banknotes. Lectures on the history of appearance and methods of “countering” financial pyramids, financial instruments, technologies and products that appear almost every day have been prepared for the older generation of citizens.
According to Elena Zyabbarova, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Moscow Department of Finance, the idea to hold Days of Financial Literacy in the capital appeared several years ago.
— We want as many Muscovites as possible to improve their financial knowledge in their area, not far from home. All our events can be visited by anyone, the entrance to them is free, – said Elena Zyabbarova.
