The Ministry of Finance of Russia transferred 10.9 billion rubles to the National Settlement Depository (NSD). (equivalent to $159.4 million) for payments on Eurobonds maturing in 2028. This was reported by the press service of the department.

In June, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree allowing companies to make Eurobond payments in rubles due to sanctions against Russia.
