The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) issued a warning to the management company of Pulkovo airport in St. Petersburg due to different tariffs for operators. About it reported in the department’s press office.
The Federal Antimonopoly Service established that there are several operators on the territory of the airport who are engaged in the maintenance of aircraft, etc. At the same time, the management company Pulkovo, Air Gates of the Northern Capital, determined different conditions for them to pay for the same services for access to the airport infrastructure.
The service believes that there are signs of abuse of dominant position in the actions of the main operator of the airport. In this regard, the FAS issued a warning and demanded to stop these actions.
The agency ordered the company to develop and agree with the Federal Antimonopoly Service a single pricing procedure within three months. It is also necessary to provide the service with a standard contract, which will include all the essential conditions.
The FAS warned that if the requirement is not met, the agency will initiate a case on violation of antimonopoly law.
In June FAS Russia excited antimonopoly cases against Russia’s largest producers of wheels for railway cars – Vyksa Metallurgical Plant (VMZ; part of OMK) and structures Evraz “Evraz NTMK and Evraz TK. According to the service, companies, occupying a dominant position in the market, unreasonably overestimated the price of products in the third quarter of 2022.
