Euro rises above 102 rubles – Kommersant

The euro exchange rate during trading on the Moscow Exchange as of 12:17 exceeded 102 rubles/€. It reached this level for the first time since July 20. The dollar traded at 92.6 rubles.
Later, the euro exchange rate fell to 101.9 rubles / €, but returned to growth a minute later. As of 12:21, the euro cost 102.01 rubles. (+0.51%), dollar – 92.9 rubles.

At the end of last week, the Moscow Exchange index exceeded 3,000 points for the first time since the start of the military operation in Ukraine. Yesterday, August 1, a new record was set – the index exceeded 3100 points for the first time since February 22, 2022. Experts attributed this to the devaluation of the ruble, the rise in oil prices, the dividend policy of companies and the external background. They predict that by the end of the year the index could reach 3500 points.
