Expert: many technical specialists do not want to receive a white salary

More and more technical specialists prefer to receive a gray salary, Maya Grekhova, CEO of PRO Realty, said at the conference “Management-2023. open dialogue”, organized by the publishing house Kommersant.
“A lot of technical specialists do not want to receive a white salary. They say: “I have alimony, I have debts, I’m bankrupt.” There is such a problem on the market, to our wild surprise,” said Ms. Grekhova.
As previously reported by Kommersant (5459238) with reference to a study by HeadHunter, in Russia 71% of workers receive white wages, 10% – black, 19% – gray. Most often, civil servants have official earnings, of which 98% work white. Gray salaries are received by 35% of procurement specialists, 33% of tourism and catering workers and 31% of senior management. The leaders of workers with a black salary are novice specialists and students (27%), workers in the field of art and media (25%) and tourism and catering (24%).
According to a survey by the Rabota.ru service, almost 70% of those who are officially registered are ready to agree to gray payments if their income increases.
