Employees of the Ministry of Digital Transformation were transferred to remote work until the end of the week after a drone hit the buildings in the Moscow City IQ quarter, where the department’s office is located, on July 30. The head of department Maksut Shadayev wrote about this from a verified account in the comments on the Telegram channel. “Non-digital economy”.

According to him, working remotely will allow “to solve office problems.” According to him messages in a closed intradepartmental chat, the supporting structures and engineering systems in the building were not damaged and it will be possible to work in it as early as Monday. He also encouraged his employees: “We often say that IT people are very anxious. Today we can show an example of endurance and determination … Guys, I really count on all of you.”

Later, the Ministry of Digital Development confirmed to Kommersant that this week all specialists, except for deputy ministers and directors of departments, can work remotely if agreed and if they wish. As noted by the department, the workplaces of employees located in the affected premises were transferred to other offices. It is specified that restoration and repair work is already underway on the floors themselves.
