During a government seminar, the executive couple reaffirmed the reform ambitions of the five-year term. The opportunity to call certain ministers to order.
Order the agenda of reforms, affirm the political course of this beginning of the five-year term and put back in place the most dissipated ministers… Meeting on Wednesday in a government seminar at the Élysée, the ministers tuned their violins with those of the Head of State and the Prime Minister. The purpose of the seminar was “to frame the government’s action (…) for emergency projects but also for the in-depth transformations that we must undertake”, explained Elisabeth Borne at the end of the day. The Prime Minister has “set roadmaps” to ministers “which will be made public”. A list of 60 “priority policies of the government” with some “precise and targeted objectives” will also be “accessible to everyone”.
The first texts examined in Parliament this autumn will relate to unemployment insurance, the development of renewable energies and the planning law of the Ministry of the Interior. Debates will be organized in the National Assembly on Ukraine…
