Russian consumer electronics stores have reduced prices on goods by up to 70% during the autumn Black Friday sale. RIA Novosti writes about this.

“Discounts on promotions have reached and are reaching 70%. Among the focus items are laptops, PCs, all-in-one PCs, smartphones, tablets, monitors, TVs, large and small household appliances,” the Citilink chain of stores told the agency.

They added that the greatest demand among buyers during Black Friday is for phones, laptops, TVs, as well as SSD drives and memory cards. The online seasonal sale runs from November 14 to November 30.

At MTS, Black Friday will last until December 3. The maximum discount in the company’s stores is also 70%. As MTS representatives said, certain brands of equipment are eligible for an additional 20% cashback.

At Tele2, the maximum discounts on consumer electronics were 50%. During the sale period, MegaFon installed unlimited mobile Internet on a number of online shopping sites.

Black Friday takes place every year at the end of November around the world. Trust in discounts among Russians during this period, according to a study by Superjob.ru, is steadily declining.
