Donald Trump’s Truth Social now available on Google Play

A few months after exit in the Apple App Store, Donald Trump’s Truth Social has become available and for US users of the Google Play app store. On the App Store, Mr. Trump’s social network quickly became one of the leaders in downloads, but the application was not yet available in the Android store. According to unofficial media reports, Google stated that a number of posts on the Truth Social social network violated its rules – in particular, it was about calls for physical violence.

Formally, Google did not say that it banned the application for this social network in its store. However, in August it became knownthat the company required Truth Social to comply with a number of requirements regarding Google’s anti-violence policy. Now, Google says that Truth Social representatives have agreed to comply with the requirements, in particular, to moderate user posts, removing incitement to violence, incitement to hatred, etc.
