Alibaba and Samsung dropped out of the list of the largest advertisers in Russia

Almost all foreign companies dropped out of the top ten advertisers on the Russian Internet and on TV in the third quarter of 2022. Among them are Alibaba and Samsung, which previously ranked fifth and tenth respectively. They were replaced in the ranking by Ozon and Tasty – period.

- “Sberbank” – 2.37 billion rubles. (-36.3% compared to the third quarter of 2021);
- “Internet Solutions” (Ozon) – 1.54 billion rubles. (+62.1%);
- “Yandex” – 1.52 billion rubles. (-31.6%);
- X5 Group — RUB 1.35 billion (+89.1%);
- “System PBO” (“Tasty and point”) – 1.11 billion rubles. (+127.7%, compared with the departed McDonald’s);
- TCS Group Holding — RUB 1.09 billion (-0.4%);
- VK – 1.05 billion rubles. (-38.7%);
- “Keh Ekommerts” (“Avito”) – 1.05 billion rubles. (-47.8%);
- “Tander” (“Magnet”) – 1.02 billion rubles. (+108.4%);
- VTB – 0.79 billion rubles. (-11.4%).
According to Starlink, the traditionally leading categories Automotive Industry, Beauty and Health, and Non-Alcoholic Drinks dropped out of the top 10 advertisers. In their place came “food”, “clothing” and “entertainment”. At the same time, it is noted that Russian companies were the largest advertisers before. In the third quarter of 2021, the top three included Sberbank (RUB 3.7 billion), Yandex (RUB 2.2 billion) and Kekh Ekommerts (RUB 2 billion). McDonald’s was not among the largest advertisers.
