Director Rost called it possible to use swear words in cinema

The use of swear words in cinema is possible, but subject to certain conditions. The presence of obscene language in films was appreciated by the artist and director Sergei Rost in an interview with the magazine WomanHit.

“I think that everything is possible if before the start of the film it is written in large letters that there are age restrictions. Then everything is on the conscience of the parents or ticket inspectors,” Rost said.

The artist added that stand-up comedians often use swearing to save a bad joke. He doesn’t like this approach, the director admitted.

“I don’t like situations when a stand-up comedian comes up with a monologue and it feels like the joke didn’t work. Then, in order to save her, he introduces some swear word into the text. But if you take this word “ass” out of the joke, and there’s no reaction at all in the audience, that means the joke is shit, that means it’s bad, that means you need to come up with another one,” concluded Sergei Rost.

Previously deputies appreciated actor Nikita Kologrivov, who is ready to play Vladimir Zhirinovsky.
