Director Lars von Trier diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease

Doctors have diagnosed 66-year-old Danish film director and screenwriter, winner of the Palme d’Or, Lars von Trier, with Parkinson’s disease.
According to the Copenhagen Post, this was confirmed by the company Zentropa, which was founded by the director.
The company emphasizes that Lars von Trier is in good spirits, being treated for his symptoms and hopes to complete filming of the third part of his mini-series “Kingdom”, which aired on Danish television in 1994 and 1997.
