Famous theatrical artist of the patriotic direction has died at the age of 82
Theater and film actor Boris Khalisov died at the age of 83 after a long illness. This was reported in the press service of the Volgograd Music and Drama Cossack Theater, where Khalisov played earlier and where his daughter Olga is now serving.
Khalisov is known to viewers for his roles in the series “Forester” and “Silent Hunt”. However, in the theater he revealed himself much more and more fully. A graduate of GITIS (1967), Boris Georgievich played in the theaters of Ryazan, Volgograd, Bugulma, and since the beginning of the 2000s – in Moscow, at the Moscow Theater of Art Publicism and the theater “Russian House”.
Boris Khalisov was a representative of a not too numerous, but noticeable community of soil-based actors, hence his repertoire – such roles as Patriarch Germogenes in the play “In Rus’, there is no enemy to be a saint”, grandfather Cossack in “Stalingrad Winter”, as well as Kapitonov in “Shards » Chekhov.
“In each of his roles, Boris Georgievich was charming, convincing, multifaceted. Being a caring, sympathetic person, he brought faith in the best to this life, ”the message said, which was distributed by the Cossack Theater. They emphasize that the acting dynasty of the Khalisovs continues.
