Actor Oleg Sevastyanov died at the age of 74. He died two days ago, on May 10, according to his Facebook page (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned).
The cause of death is not given. Farewell to the actor will take place tomorrow, May 13, at the Alexander Lutheran Cathedral in the Estonian city of Narva.
Oleg Sevastyanov graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School. In 1973-1977 he played in the Moscow Theater. Lenin Komsomol, also worked at the Theater of Satire. He starred in 15 films, including The Bronze Bird (1973–1974), The 12 Chairs (1976), Portraits of Men (1987), Take Me With You (1989), Promised Heaven ( 1991).
In 1990, Mr. Sevastyanov became a Lutheran pastor. He served in the parishes of Moscow and near St. Petersburg, was a missionary-consultant in the Volga region, after – in Estonia. In September 2005, with his participation, Lutheran services in Russian were resumed in Narva.
