First Deputy Minister of Energy of Russia Pavel Sorokin said that the Ministry of Energy had submitted a draft to the government and presidential administration to ban “gray” fuel exports. According to him, the document is going through the final stage of approval.

And I hope that in the coming days – a maximum of a week, but I hope that days, I don’t want to give a deadline, it depends not only on us – we will be able to come out with an indication of a ban on gray exports, ”the minister said at a joint meeting of committees State Dumas for control and agrarian issues.

Because of this, according to him, “a lot of unscrupulous players” in the market buy at the domestic price and sell for export. He clarified that only enterprises will export fuel under the new rules.
