Damper payments to oilmen more than halved over six months

Revenues to Russian oil companies from the budget under the damping mechanism decreased in January-June 2023 by 2.4 times compared to the same period last year to 542.6 billion rubles. This is stated in the materials of the Ministry of Finance. In January-June 2022, payments amounted to 1.28 trillion rubles.
In June of this year, transfers under the fuel damper amounted to 78.6 billion rubles, which is almost three times lower than in June last year. Payments have been declining for the second month in a row: in May 2023 they amounted to 103.5 billion rubles, in April – 107.2 billion rubles.
